How do we create meaningful relationships built on trust and openness?

The journey to answer this and several more questions has taken me to Southeast Asia, both Americas, different places in Europe, and the Middle East.

Ten years into working with nonprofits and tech companies, I say: what’s there not to love about communications and relationship management?

These areas have given me an opportunity to tell stories, connect with others, assist people on their journeys, and work together with some amazing people to create a world that’s a bit kinder.

Now, I’d love to share my experience with you.

It gives me a lot of joy to support organisations whose work I genuinely deeply admire. Whether it is meaningful work in the inevitably interconnected areas of antiwar, planetary health, indigenous rights, demining, or solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Palestine.

Connect with your audience over what’s meaningful. Inspire, educate, and motivate them to take action. Present your message in an appealing and engaging way. Never shame your supporters: we know shame simply doesn’t work as a social justice tool.

Outreach & External Communications

Invite your supporters to join you in your online and live events. Inform them about what’s important and encourage them to take action. Communicate with different stakeholders in a way that conveys your voice and your message.

Donor Relations

Make your supporters feel heard and taken care of. Inform them, guide them, help them, and thank them. Build trust with them via open and empathetic communication and make them feel part of your mission.

Employee Training & Internal Communications

Welcome and onboard your team members. Make sure your team knows how to problem-solve and receives all the necessary trainings on your policies and internal tools. Create a safe and shame-free environment at work.
