I am inviting you to my second community call to discuss exactly that: how we collectively can make climate change communications accessible — and more effective.

This is also an emergency fundraiser for local relief efforts in Nepal. I will donate 50% of everything I collect from this call to local organisations providing relief following the devastating floods. The remaining 50% supports my independent political analysis, pro bono work with NGOs, and the time involved in organising these community calls.

This isn’t a lecture or a workshop. It’s a small collective space for people who communicate about climate justice — or are interested in doing so — to exchange ideas, resources, and practical frameworks.
What will we talk about?
As someone who has worked with anti-imperialist and anticolonial organisations, including an international climate justice one that centers Indigenous People, I have some ideas I’d like to share. But I also understand that we are never as knowledgeable and resourceful as we are collectively.
That’s why I am very curious to learn from you, too, what we need to be absolutely clear about in our communications, how to do it, whom to point to when assigning causation and correlation, and much more.
I also want this call to be an opportunity to exchange climate change and anticolonial reading lists as well as independent media, research institutes, and nonprofit recommendations.
Last but not least, we will talk about what we use in our day-to-day lives to fight climate pessimism, and to simply keep on going when the world around us might not be giving us many reasons to stay hopeful ❤️🩹
I have another community call for you on September 17. Yet this one is an emergency call because it is a fundraiser for flash-flood relief efforts in Nepal — a country that is suffering from our climate emergency in the most visible ways.
🚫 This is an explicitly anticolonial space. We won’t be treating climate change as a politically neutral problem: we’ll be talking about colonialism, imperialism, militarism, and the systems that have produced today’s climate emergency. 🚫
I hope to connect with you and engage in a meaningful, open, and heartwarming conversation about what this planet needs.
One thing is clear — it needs more collaboration, connection, and collective effort to hold the ones responsible for designing, maintaining, and defending the systems that are destroying life on this planet.
