If you are used to being the oppressor – and the one with power – at home, you will very likely bring it wherever you go.
This is what happened in Amsterdam this week, where the behaviour of Israeli football fans met some resistance from pro-Palestine protestors.
To understand what happened, how the mainstream media portrayed it, and how appalling that discrepancy is (carrying its own agenda), I highly recommend a video by Owen Jones.
If you haven’t understood by now how the mainstream media has chosen to serve and amplify the Israeli narrative, you might be struggling with this deconstruction, too.
If you have, I have my own commentary to add to Owen’s brilliant piece.
To illustrate the cowardice, the malpractice, and the complicity of the mainstream media when it comes to Israel, please watch the report that Sky News later deleted. Sky News didn’t dare to do journalism.
To see how truly insane this world is, take a look at (the headline at least) of this article.
And as always: stay strong, check on others, and keep your heart open.

An Interview on Iran and Israel You Have to See
This is an absolute must-watch: Jeremy Scahill, one of the few journalists who interviews and is trusted by various actors, including the Iranian government, talks to Samir Mohyeddin about the U.S.-Iranian negotiations and Israel’s “fragile ceasefires” in Gaza and Lebanon. It’s a conversation good for our brains and conscience.
When Words Become Both The Representation And The Represented
The simplest propaganda technique – blatant lies – might be all that Israel and its supporters have left in their toolbox. Yet words with no meaning is what our leaders, too, have been resorting to for years now, following Israel itself.
Israel: The Only Country Whose Actions Never Represent Itself
If it is not its ministers, navy, police, prison guards, people marching on the streets, nor settlers protected by the army, who, then, actually represents Israel?
