It’s been really hard to witness the normalisation of annihilation of a people – daily, unleashed with violence that isn’t subsiding.
I encourage you to protect your sanity (your head and your heart). I have three excellent videos for you that might just do it.
While there is always a lot to say – and both no words left – about Israel’s endless moral abyss, what I want to share with you today are three interviews that have reminded me of two things.
One, we are a global community. That people around the world still care. That people are still doing what they can in times of this genocide, even if it’s only bearing witness.
Two, seeking a sense of community and consuming what keeps us sane is as important as ever. I know our hearts can only take as much and despair might be creeping in. That is why, this is where we use everything.
I hope these three videos – or however many you choose to watch – will restore your sanity a little bit. I hope they are good for your nervous system, even when the subject is what has kept those systems deregulated for a long time.
So what are these videos?
First, I invite you to watch an interview with International lawyer Ralph Wilde on various ICJ rulings regarding Palestine and what international law says – very very clearly – about Israel’s actions there. The interview is incredibly straightforward and Wilde words everything in a way that I am sure you will find restorative.
If you’re unsure if it’s worth your time, please see this short clip from it here:
Second, it is a conversation with Noura Erakat: someone who doesn’t need an introduction but which you can find here, in an interview I shared with her almost exactly a year ago.
She is interviewed by Samira Mohyeddin from On The Line Media (I will mention Samira a bit later in this very article again). They talk about oppression, resistance, solidarity, and so much in between.
It will leave you informed, enraged, heartbroken — and reminded of what amazing company we all are in as part of this struggle.
Last but not least, I want to share an episode of Bad Hasbara, my favourite podcast with you.
As an introduction to it (if it’s needed), here’s a clip where Daniel Mate deconstructs liberal Zionism for us in under a minute.
The episode I completely loved was with Dr. Gabor Maté, someone I couldn’t admire and respect more. I’ve also recommended several interviews with him on this very blog of mine, including here.
Watch for yourselves a range of deconstructions of the Israeli propaganda, Zionist talking points, and why and how our hearts break because of Gaza.
That is it for today. The last thing I’ll ask you is to share any of these resources with those who might need them 💔
As always: stay strong, check on others, and keep your heart open.
❤️💔❤️

How Fascist Regimes See Growing up, Standing up for People, and Writing Poems as Threats
Hind Rajab was killed by Israeli forces two years ago today – and that is one of the threads of history that I talk about in my essay-like video. It’s about fascism, its victims, the heaviness of witnessing these horrors, and how we can move forward.
On U.S. State Violence: A Continuation, Not a Rupture
The recent murder of Alex Pretti by ICE agents is one painfully clear indication – or, rather, a reminder – that in the U.S, the violence abroad has come back as fascism at home.
After Having Enabled It for Decades, The EU Is Appalled by U.S. Imperialism — Only When It Threatens Its Shores
After having enabled U.S. and Israeli military aggression around the world, notice the EU appeal to international law when the territorial integrity of Denmark is threatened by the U.S.
