The circle of countries that show unshakeable support to Israel is shrinking.
Unfortunately, my country has chosen to stay in that circle no matter what.
It’s not an exaggeration. While even some major EU players – like Spain and Italy – are speaking out against Israeli crimes and the need to cut ties with it, my country, Lithuania, has been proudly strengthening its military, economic, cultural, and medical ties with Israel.
The fall of my government into a moral abyss, together with Israel, is, indeed, endless. I’ve been documenting it for two and a half years now, mostly in Lithuanian, with no lack of shameful instances to comment on (you can find my older comments here and my newer ones on my new YouTube channel in Lithuanian; my English one is here).
My video today is on a lot of things. It’s on one absolutely grotesque example of that Lithuanian-Israel cooperation; it’s on rage that might feel familiar; and it’s on the need to continue feeling it, as it is only an adequate emotion that propels us forward.

How The World Cup in a Fascist Country Looks, and How Nothing Can Be Expected of FIFA
How the U.S. is treating athletes coming to compete in the World Cup would only be surprising to those who either don’t know too much about rise of fascism in the U.S., or the history of FIFA itself.
