The circle of countries that show unshakeable support to Israel is shrinking.
Unfortunately, my country has chosen to stay in that circle no matter what.
It’s not an exaggeration. While even some major EU players – like Spain and Italy – are speaking out against Israeli crimes and the need to cut ties with it, my country, Lithuania, has been proudly strengthening its military, economic, cultural, and medical ties with Israel.
The fall of my government into a moral abyss, together with Israel, is, indeed, endless. I’ve been documenting it for two and a half years now, mostly in Lithuanian, with no lack of shameful instances to comment on (you can find my older comments here and my newer ones on my new YouTube channel in Lithuanian; my English one is here).
My video today is on a lot of things. It’s on one absolutely grotesque example of that Lithuanian-Israel cooperation; it’s on rage that might feel familiar; and it’s on the need to continue feeling it, as it is only an adequate emotion that propels us forward.
Also, if you have been thinking of taking your speaking-out efforts beyond LinkedIn posts (no matter how important), let’s connect on May 26th. Find my workshop here. It’s also one of my ways to collect funds for humanitarian relief efforts in Lebanon ♥️
Lastly, if you choose to support my work, please consider inviting me for coffee or contributing to cover my hosting fees (WordPress, domain, music licensing, etc.) for 2026 by clicking one of the buttons below.
The people dearest to me know that I love sending postcards (my mom has the largest collection that I started almost 20 years ago).
Now, I am offering to send a postcard to anyone who contributes $100 USD or more to my work. Just make a donation and send me (jposkeviciute[at]gmail.com) a mailing address where my card can reach you!
As always, stay strong, check on others, and keep your heart open.

An Interview on Iran and Israel You Have to See
This is an absolute must-watch: Jeremy Scahill, one of the few journalists who interviews and is trusted by various actors, including the Iranian government, talks to Samir Mohyeddin about the U.S.-Iranian negotiations and Israel’s “fragile ceasefires” in Gaza and Lebanon. It’s a conversation good for our brains and conscience.
When Words Become Both The Representation And The Represented
The simplest propaganda technique – blatant lies – might be all that Israel and its supporters have left in their toolbox. Yet words with no meaning is what our leaders, too, have been resorting to for years now, following Israel itself.
Israel: The Only Country Whose Actions Never Represent Itself
If it is not its ministers, navy, police, prison guards, people marching on the streets, nor settlers protected by the army, who, then, actually represents Israel?
