The Desire for Normalcy by Those Who Have Normalised Inhumanity

We already know what Aaron Bushnell said — “This is what our ruling class has decided will be normal” — and how it looks.

Malnourished children, destroyed hospitals, assassinated journalists, poisoned water, and daily attacks on anything that might resemble a life with dignity, even during the so-called ceasefire.

We can see with our own eyes what our own governments have normalised.

For my own government, Israel’s genocide isn’t even an inconvenience, not even a tiny obstacle to strengthening our bilateral relations.

The irony here, as various stories appear in the media of Israelis not being welcomed to some places, is that the ones who have normalised mass murder are seeking normalcy as if they are considered to be from a state, or, rather, a society, that is considered normal.

As I open the seventh season of my project, I invite you to keep your rage and to actively point out how a genocide and the support for a genocidal ethnostate are not normal.

As always, stay strong, check on others, and keep your heart open.
