If you are looking for a vulnerable but uplifting, heartwarming conversation about how to keep ourselves afloat in these dark times, I have an invitation for you: a small community call and fundraiser.
The last few years have been devastating; there is no other way to describe them. To remain sane, to continue speaking out, and to keep my heart open to this world has been a challenge that has required me to use all the tools in my toolbox and to look for new ones.
🌱 Community Call & Fundraiser
September 17, 2026 · 12 PM EST / 7 PM EEST
Up to 5 participants · Online
Contribution: $50 or $75
I have a lot to share, but I never forget that we are always wiser collectively. And we cannot fight for collective liberation if we’re not in community.
That’s why I’d like to offer you an opportunity to connect in an online space to talk about how what’s happening in the world is affecting us, what we’re doing to keep ourselves going, and what tools and frameworks we can draw on from trauma studies, neuroscience, (Western) psychology, and Buddhist psychology.
There’s a question/reminder that I pose in one of my videos. If it’s a question you’ve been asking (or feeling in your body), too, my invitation is definitely for you.
🚫 This call is not for everyone. In particular, it isn’t a space for people who are comfortable with colonialism, military occupation, and U.S. imperialism. 🚫
I am inviting you to join my second community call of up to five people this September (if you’d rather have one-on-one calls with me, I have that option here). The first call took place on August 26 and was absolutely lovely — small, vulnerable, and heartwarming.
>> September 17, 2026, 12pm (noon) EST <<
Please register by September 16, 2026 (Wednesday) to guarantee a spot.
What will we talk about?
We’ll share what we have been using to help regulate our nervous systems, the importance of having mental, psychological, literary, and spiritual frameworks that keep us going, how we can approach rest, and what frameworks help to process the complicity or indifference of others.
What I am offering you is an opportunity to connect, to talk about how we can sustain our political action and practices of resistance, and also to support the people of Colombia.
How? From every contribution, I will donate $10–20 to local organizations providing relief in Colombia’s Chocó and Valle del Cauca regions after the recent earthquake 💔 Valle del Cauca is where I used to live and have connections on the ground. The remainder helps sustain my independent work, pro bono consulting for different NGOs, and covers the time involved in organizing the call.
To join, please register by September 16. Your contribution can be either $50 or $75:
1) a contribution of 50 USD – 10 USD goes to 🇨🇴
2) a contribution of 75 USD (if you’re willing and able to give more) – 20 USD goes to 🇨🇴
If you have a European bank account or can easily transfer money to such accounts, I invite you to make a transfer directly to my bank by September 16, 2026. Please leave Talk as a reference and send me a quick email at jposkeviciute[at]gmail.com afterward to make sure I know how to contact you.

- An Interview with Amy Goodman from Democracy Now! That You Cannot Miss
Amy Goodman is a living legend. Her independent media work, her courage, her dedication to amplifying the voices of those who have been silenced, and her love for the world is an example to us all — and an invitation to speak out and uplift each other. Watch this amazing conversation with her now. - Indigeneity As The World Is Burning: We Can Either Watch The Fire, Or We Can Put Out The Centuries-Old Flames Together
On International Indigenous People’s Day, let’s not romanticise nor dismiss the struggle that will, in the end, liberate us all. - Settler Violence, State Violence: The Daily Terrorism in Palestine
Settler violence is state violence, and it has been on the rise in the West Bank for years. See and speak out against the intensification of pogroms that we’re seeing here now, after one specific deadly attack near Nablus. - A Must-Watch Interview on Palestinian Armed Resistance and Israel’s Iron Dome
This interview is an absolute must: Jeremy Scahill talks to Senator Ro Khanna about the U.S.’s continuous support for Israel and whether Palestinians, too, have the right to armed resistance. It reveals so much of what we have been seeing: one’s unwillingness to bring full accountability to the Israeli regime. - On Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya And The BBC’s Irresistible Desire to Quote Israel
We’ve had enough of the propaganda of the occupier being repeated by the legacy media. And when it still gives airtime to unsubstantiated claims by the Israeli government regarding Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya even as his life is at risk, we should be enraged. - How to Make (No) Sense of The New Lebanese Agreement with Israel
As the Lebanese government signs an agreement with Israel, seemingly disregarding the leverage Iran is currently granting them, what does this all mean? What does it mean for Hezbollah, Lebanese resistance, and the future of the country itself? - On The Targeting of Children And The Yoga to Treat One’s PTSD afterwards (The Zionist Universe)
In one universe, the army of the occupier is deliberately targeting children and continuing its genocide. In another universe, the same soldiers are portrayed in a way to evoke our compassion. Can you guess which one is a Zionist universe? - Where The Swings Between A Human-Centric and A Fascist Government Will Stop in Colombia
The results of the presidential elections in Colombia today will determine not only where the country is going, but whether the world will keep a loud anticolonial, anti-imperial, and antizionist government. - Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya and Palestinian Sumud in The Courts of The Occupier
As Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya appeared via video in the Israeli Supreme Court, I invite you to name what we’re actually seeing: resistance against a fascist apartheid regime, enabled by our governments.
