The mask is off. The oppression and its multiple brutal forms are clear. Now, the question is: will you join the movement?
As I partly refer to them in my short video above, today I want to share with you some questions that just couldn’t escape my mind — and that show how standing with the Palestinian people is so much more than standing with someone from Palestine.
Mostly, these questions come from having seen and heard people justifying the killing of civilians, people being “OK” with over 5,000 children killed by Israeli forces, and people shrugging shoulders to war crimes captured on camera.
I don’t believe you’re one of them. But here are those questions.
In the end, they might be what YOU, in general, are about.
So:
Do you stand with the Israeli government or do you stand with doctors?
Do you stand with the Israeli government or do you stand with journalists?
Do you stand with the Israeli government or do you stand with humanitarian workers?
Do you stand with the Israeli government or do you stand with human rights organisations?
Do you stand with the Israeli government or do you stand with international law lawyers?
Do you stand with the Israeli government or do you stand with scholars?
Do you stand with the Israeli government or do you stand with Israeli peace protestors?
Do you stand with the Israeli government or do you stand with Jewish voices for peace around the world?
Do you stand with the occupier or do you stand with the occupied?
Do you stand with the ones fine with killing over 5,000 children in over a month or do you stand with the children?
Do you stand with the children?
Do you stand with the children?
—
Today or any day, I encourage you not to pledge allegiance to any government.
Especially when it forces you to answer any question in ways that diminish your own humanity.

Stay strong, check on others, and keep your heart open.

An Interview on Iran and Israel You Have to See
This is an absolute must-watch: Jeremy Scahill, one of the few journalists who interviews and is trusted by various actors, including the Iranian government, talks to Samir Mohyeddin about the U.S.-Iranian negotiations and Israel’s “fragile ceasefires” in Gaza and Lebanon. It’s a conversation good for our brains and conscience.
When Words Become Both The Representation And The Represented
The simplest propaganda technique – blatant lies – might be all that Israel and its supporters have left in their toolbox. Yet words with no meaning is what our leaders, too, have been resorting to for years now, following Israel itself.
Israel: The Only Country Whose Actions Never Represent Itself
If it is not its ministers, navy, police, prison guards, people marching on the streets, nor settlers protected by the army, who, then, actually represents Israel?
