The West Bank is burning.
It’s what we get, as the international community has done nothing of substance to create accountability for Israeli settler — hence, state — violence.
In case you social media feed is not filled with images from pogroms all over the West Bank, here’s an example of what it looks.
Though settler violence has been on the rise for years, what we’re seeing now, after two israeli soldiers were killed in a town called Tell, near Nablus, two days ago, might be the beginning of a scale of violence truly unprecedented. They soldiers were killed when a member of the Ramadan family – four people of which were murdered – took the gun from the armed settlers and soldiers, quite clearly trying to protect his family.
Here’s my video of what we have to remember and reiterate to those who might be repeating Israeli state propaganda these days.
As always, stay strong, check on others, and keep your heart open.
