Antony Blinken’s closing press conference was a microcosm in itself: a binary between those with a moral compass and courage and those for whom this combination is unknown.
As a ceasefire deal was being closed last week, another historic thing happened: Antony Blinken’s last address to the press as the Secretary of State. What his audience was I truly don’t know, in that who actually believes what this man says. Thankfully, it was interrupted with words that rang more true – and were so needed – than anything we were hearing from an administration actively supporting a genocide for the last fifteen months.
My episode is on the bravery of those who spoke out and the silence of those who are complicit.
My eternal gratitude and respect for Max Blumenthal and Sam Husseini. Please see videos of what they had to tell Blinken below.
And by saying it, they spoke for all of us.
My eternal gratitude, respect, and apologies on behalf of the world to Palestinian journalists.
And now, my longer message – in a podcast episode or a video format below.
As always: stay strong, check on others, and keep your heart open.
