When we think of the annihilation of Gaza we are witnessing, there is so much that is impossible to rebuild.
But some things can be. My blog post is about one of them.
It won’t be a political commentary.
It is an invitation that does stem from doing what I have been doing for over a decade, and from not having lost hope in people’s desire to stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza.
In my video below, I talk to Mahmoud, my friend from Gaza, whose media company was completely destroyed at the beginning of the Genocide.
Mahmoud himself evacuated to Egypt, which is where we met earlier this year. What goes without saying is that he has lost so much more than his equipment, yet in our conversation, we focused on his media work.
I am sure we didn’t meet by accident, for no reason. And now, my invitation is to collectively rebuild one person’s life and livelihoods — and by that, stand in solidarity with both Mahmoud and other young talent in Gaza that he cannot wait to be able to hire again.
Watch my conversation with Mahmoud below.
Then, say YES to our initiative to rebuild his media company by either donating or spreading the word ❤️

To exist in the world where Israel, too, exists – to physically be and function in such a world – is hard on our nervous systems. The new horrors of the kidnapping of Thiago Avila and Saif Abu Keshek are yet another reminder of how that heaviness won’t go away, as long as Israel -…
How Did Jon Stewart Miss The Greatest Piece of Satire on His Show?
Here’s a reminder that choosing to interview someone who history – and, hopefully, the ICJ – will remember as a war criminal and a genocide enabler, like Annalena Baerbock, is very much not cool. Especially when you have a massive platform.
