International law is clear: occupied people have the right to armed resistance.
But when Jeremy Scahill interviews Senator Ro Khanna, suddenly things don’t seem as straightforward.
Although listening to Jeremy Scahill is never a waste of your time, this specific interview is an absolute must.
It reveals how even those with a reasonable record – in the context of U.S. politics, that is – on Palestine might not be willing to push Israel for full accountability for its crimes. Senator Khanna’s support for Israel’s Iron Dome – military protection for the aggressor – remains even after an array of probing questions from Jeremy.
It’s a powerful interview. As the questions are layered, they expose the hypocrisy of who’s seen as worthy of the right to engage in military action and who isn’t.
I invite you to watch the full video below.
If you watch this interview without ever having encountered Jeremy Scahill’s (decades-long) journalism, I hope it feels as refreshing and honest to you as it has always felt to me. I encourage you to follow Drop Site News for quality journalism like this.
If you’d like to share a powerful snippet of this interview, I have made one for you (on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and – with Lithuanian subtitles – on my Lithuanian YouTube channel and Facebook).
I will leave you with my most recent commentary on a piece of news that reminds us what kind of world we’re living in in 2026.
It also reminds us why we have to keep on and even up our advocacy work for Palestine.
As always, stay strong, check on others, and keep your heart open.

On Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya And The BBC’s Irresistible Desire to Quote Israel
We’ve had enough of the propaganda of the occupier being repeated by the legacy media. And when it still gives airtime to unsubstantiated claims by the Israeli government regarding Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya even as his life is at risk, we should be enraged.
How to Make (No) Sense of The New Lebanese Agreement with Israel
As the Lebanese government signs an agreement with Israel, seemingly disregarding the leverage Iran is currently granting them, what does this all mean? What does it mean for Hezbollah, Lebanese resistance, and the future of the country itself?
On The Targeting of Children And The Yoga to Treat One’s PTSD afterwards (The Zionist Universe)
In one universe, the army of the occupier is deliberately targeting children and continuing its genocide. In another universe, the same soldiers are portrayed in a way to evoke our compassion. Can you guess which one is a Zionist universe?
