I understand how important it is to have a safe space to discuss what’s happening in the world and how it’s affecting us.
That space is what I want to provide in our calls.
If you’ve been wanting to talk about politics with someone trained in this field, and without shying away from the fact that to live through these times is, honestly, just really freakin’ hard, you will love what I have decided to offer.
These are one-on-one calls to talk about what’s happening around the world and what we’re doing to keep our mental health base from crumbling.
🚫 These calls are not for everyone. Especially if you are fine with colonialism, military occupations, and U.S. imperialism 🚫
If you are not, and you’d like to have engaging, shame-free, and trauma-informed conversations with me, please keep reading. These calls are a beautiful mix of what I have kept separate in my The Exploding Head and Investigative Selfism projects: the outer and the inner. The inevitable interconnection between the political and the personal.
What will we talk about? Who decides on the topic?
I’ll ask you to choose a topic and tell me what it is at least one day in advance, so I can make sure I bring at least some questions to the table (in case it’s not a topic I’m familiar with). You can choose not to pick a specific topic; in that case, my own default topics are what’s happening in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and, generally speaking, Latin America.
In each call, I will create space to talk about how it’s affecting us, what we’re doing to keep ourselves going, and what tools we can use according to trauma studies, neuroscience, (Western) psychology, and Buddhist psychology.
These conversations are meant to leave you engaged and intellectually stimulated, but also seen and heard.
If you’ve been wanting to have more of it in your life, don’t hesitate. Let’s connect.
I want the logistics of our calls to be as straightforward as possible. A simple video call, just like a call with a friend. A quick “Hey, are we still up for our call today?” message on the same day, just like what I do with friends.
What’s included in our calls:
- Flexible scheduling hours: let’s find a time that works for you
- Quick communication: if it works for you, we can be in touch via WhatsApp to accommodate any last-minute updates
- Book, media outlet, podcast, film, etc, recommendations
Pricing
Please note that a call is one hour long (60 minutes, not an academic hour).
I am offering a package of 4 calls for $172. If you choose to buy a package, the only condition is to use it within four months.
If bought one at a time: $45 per call.
I don’t offer free calls or events at the moment, as they go toward supporting my independent political commentary, my ability to provide pro bono consulting to various nonprofits, and my own charitable contributions to various causes.
If you are ready to say YES to connecting, book a call with me right now.

- An Interview on Iran and Israel You Have to See
This is an absolute must-watch: Jeremy Scahill, one of the few journalists who interviews and is trusted by various actors, including the Iranian government, talks to Samir Mohyeddin about the U.S.-Iranian negotiations and Israel’s “fragile ceasefires” in Gaza and Lebanon. It’s a conversation good for our brains and conscience. - When Words Become Both The Representation And The Represented
The simplest propaganda technique – blatant lies – might be all that Israel and its supporters have left in their toolbox. Yet words with no meaning is what our leaders, too, have been resorting to for years now, following Israel itself. - Israel: The Only Country Whose Actions Never Represent Itself
If it is not its ministers, navy, police, prison guards, people marching on the streets, nor settlers protected by the army, who, then, actually represents Israel? - Updates On The Global Sumud Flotilla: Saif and Thiago Are Free
After their kidnapping and illegal detention in Israel, Saif Abu Keshek and Thiago Avila have been released. Our global pressure worked. But our work is far from over. - On The Global Sumud Flotilla, What The World with Israel in It Looks Like, And What It Does to Our Nervous Systems
To exist in the world where Israel, too, exists – to physically be and function in such a world – is hard on our nervous systems. The new horrors of the kidnapping of Thiago Avila and Saif Abu Keshek are yet another reminder of how that heaviness won’t go away, as long as Israel – as a colonial, apartheid, fascist political entity – exists. - How Did Jon Stewart Miss The Greatest Piece of Satire on His Show?
Here’s a reminder that choosing to interview someone who history – and, hopefully, the ICJ – will remember as a war criminal and a genocide enabler, like Annalena Baerbock, is very much not cool. Especially when you have a massive platform. - What, According to My Government, Other Countries Can Learn from Israel
This is the most straightforward way I can put it: just like there are countries in history known for their collaboration with the Nazi regime, my country, Lithuania, has inscribed itself as one of the staunchest supporters of Israel, no matter the scale, depravity, or geography of its crimes. See if my rage resonates with yours. - Invest in Decolonising Narratives
Something incredible is happening in Panama – in that how anticolonial it is. I’m inviting you to support it. - What Israel’s Destruction of Lebanon Is Showing Us Painfully Clearly
When Israel shows only contempt for what its greater ally wants, we need no more proof is there’s anything above Israel’s colonial expansionist ambitions.
